Fun, relaxing and free! Join us for an evening of unusual frivolity. April is National Poetry Month, celebrating the joy, expressiveness and pure delight of poetry. Let’s explore the haiku, a Japanese poetic form that consists of three lines, with five syllables in the first line, seven in the second, and five in the third. We'll talk about haiku formats and hear classic and new poems. Be prepared to try your hand at writing them, too! No previous haiku writing experience necessary. Ages 18+.
