Targeted especially for beginning gardeners, this presentation covers essential questions to answer in order to have a better chance at creating a successful garden — vegetable or ornamental. The second half of the session is a hands-on exercise for participants to work on their own unique garden situation following the questions presented. 

You will leave with:

  • a sketch
  • a list of steps to take to carry your vision forward
  • a process to select appropriate plants for your needs
  • a list of resources
