Program Description

Event Details

Monitoring blood pressure is an easy way to learn about heart health. It can provide early warning signs of potential health problems and allow individuals to make lifestyle changes or seek medical treatment before serious complications arise. This event will equip participants with the knowledge they need to understand what their blood pressure readings mean and how to take their own measurements accurately. Join the American Heart Association, WellSpan Health and the Ephrata Public Library for this special event designed to empower community members. After the event, blood pressure cuffs will be available for patrons to borrow from the Library and WellSpan Health representatives will be on-site monthly to continue helping community members take control of their blood pressure.
