Registration for "Caution Don't Touch" Science will open at 9:00AM on Wednesday, July 23rd for Manheim Township and East Lampeter residents and on Wednesday, July 30th for residents of other municipalities.

Join us for a wild and colorful adventure as we read Peter the Poison Dart Frog by Thomas Sandusky and uncover the secrets behind these amazing natural defenses. We’ll explore creatures and plants that use their looks to survive — and maybe even outsmart their enemies! With fun activities and fascinating facts, this program is perfect for curious young scientists and animal lovers alike.

Library Program Policies
No Show – Patrons failing to cancel their registration for more than 2 library programs in a month will be restricted from registering for future programs for a period of one month’s time. Please cancel your registrations at least 2 hours prior to the start of the program to allow for those on the waiting list to be notified of their change in registration status.
Late Arrivals – Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the start of the program to allow for parking and other circumstances. The program will begin promptly at the designated time. At this time, your spot will be forfeited to those on the wait list who will be granted entry. If spots remain, registrants may be allowed into the program. However, registrants will not be permitted to enter the program 5 minutes past the start time.
Drop Off Program – This program is intended for children over the age of 6 years who can participate independently. Adult(s) must be present to check in child with youth services staff prior to program. Adults will not be allowed in the event space.
Designated Ages – Please adhere to the age restrictions designated on your registration. Only children in that age range will be admitted.
