Lancaster Public Library’s Summer Reading Program is a community tradition that promotes reading for fun and lifelong enrichment. This summer, we are offering a rich variety of programs to spark curiosity, imagination, and learning across all age groups.
Learn how buildings were built during colonial times.
Hands on activities will show patrons different elements of colonial architecture. Explore how colonists built sturdy walls and water-resistant roofs using simple machines and how we still apply these simple concepts today.
