Lancaster Public Library’s Summer Reading Program is a community tradition that promotes reading for fun and lifelong enrichment. This summer, we are offering a rich variety of programs to spark curiosity, imagination, and learning across all age groups.
Become an engineer for a day when you attend our hands-on workshop! Create your own bridge using a variety of materials, engineering skills, and teamwork 🌉
- Learn about balance, shapes, and teamwork.
- Find out how much weight your bridge can hold!

This class is perfect for curious kids who love to build and want to learn how engineers design bridges in real life.
Ages 8-12* · Registration is recommended and opens on May 1
*Children under the age of 11 should be accompanied by a parent/caregiver for the duration of the program. Children between the ages of 11-12 should have a parent/caregiver in the library.
