Event Details

Field Paleontologists, Mike and Roberta Straka will explain how they became interested in science. The presentation will feature an Albertosaurus skull. They will highlight the features of this carnivore and examine the characteristics of this dinosaur. Audience members will experience the thrill of digging up a real Triceratops dinosaur bone and then help construct a dinosaur on a large cut-out.
Audience participation, a touch of magic, and show and tell with rare fossils will round out this fun, educational and exciting adventure! As an added attraction, Mike and Roberta will set-up a mini-museum, showcasing photos and minerals from their summer digs in South Dakota!
