Computer assisted design (CAD) software is used to create files for the 3D printer. In this introductory project, participants will learn to use TinkerCAD, which is free online software for editing and creating 3D files.

Each person will learn step by step how to use the software by creating a keychain with the letters of their name. 3D prints will be available for pickup within a week or two after the program.

This session is designed for adults with no prior experience. Open to ages 14+ or 12-13 with an adult. Registration is required. Limit 10 people.

In the Special Notes section of the registration form, please let us know whether you can bring your own laptop or if you would like to use a library laptop.
