ELANCO Library WILL BE CLOSED ALL DAY TODAY, Tuesday, May 21, 2024, to prepare for the re-opening of our Children's Library and for a computer upgrade. Preschool Storytime for today is CANCELLED.
Do you someone who is not online but might want to know about the closing? Please spread the word! Thank you.
During the computer upgrade, which will begin at 4am on May 21, the following will be unavailable:
- the library's online catalog (including placing holds and paying fines online)
- My Library! mobile app.
- lynx.lancasterlibraries.org (our eResources)
- placing interlibrary loan requests
- online self registration for new library cards
- Libby/Overdrive (eBooks and eAudiobooks)
ELANCO Library's Children’s Library underwent a remodel (including updated paint, furnishings, carpet, the creation of a new early learning room, and more) starting in January 2024. Construction is substantially complete, and we are working on moving back in. There will be a Grand Re-Opening Celebration (and summer reading kickoff party) at the library on Saturday, June 1, from 10am to 12pm.
