ELANCO Library will close at 1pm, today, Friday, April 26, 2024, to prepare for the re-opening of our Children's Library.
The Children’s Library underwent a remodel (including updated paint, furnishings, carpet, the creation of a new early learning room, and more) starting in January 2024. As of late April, construction is substantially complete, and we are working on moving back in, with plans to reopen to the public before Summer Reading begins on June 1. (The re-opening date will be posted to www.elancolibrary.org when it is available.)
The lower level, where the children’s library is located, is currently closed. Many children’s books & other materials are available to check out, and story times and other children’s programs continue as scheduled. Please visit https://elancolibrary.org/a-new-chapter/ for more details.
