Getting Acquainted with Elephants at the Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee
Ms. Rosanne Sietins will discuss how she fell in love with elephants and the
mission of The Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee. Hear what the daily needs are of
these very social and magnificent animals and how the Sanctuary with a vet staff and
caregivers meets these needs. Understand why the elephant is identified as a "keystone species" and if a keystone species disappears through extinction or removal, the entire ecosystem would be dramatically affected. Learn the differences between 3 species, too. Online registration begins 6/25.
