If you are wondering about the difference between Extra Give vs. Giving Tuesday? Both are great opportunities to support causes you care about, but they’re not the same event:
-Extra Give is a local 24-hour giving event focused on Lancaster County nonprofits. It happens once a year and is designed to celebrate and strengthen our community by supporting organizations right here at home. ExtraGive uses its own donation portal.

-Giving Tuesday is a global movement that encourages generosity worldwide. It takes place the Tuesday after Thanksgiving and invites people everywhere to give back in any way—donations, volunteering, or acts of kindness. Giving Tuesday is platform-agnostic.

-In short: Extra Give = local impact, Giving Tuesday = global movement. Both make a big difference!
