Registration for Glitter Critters Science Program will open at 9:00AM on Wednesday, July 9th for Manheim Township and East Lampeter residents and on Wednesday, July 16th for residents of other municipalities.

Get ready to explore the dazzling world of animals that sparkle, shimmer, and shine! We’ll dive into stunning pictures and real preserved specimens that show off nature’s glittery secrets—from iridescent beetles to shimmering wings.
Then, unleash your creativity by painting your very own beetle picture using natural mica glitter that glows and glimmers just like the real thing. Take your sparkling masterpiece home and keep the magic of nature shining bright all summer long!
Library Program Policies
No Show – Patrons failing to cancel their registration for more than 2 library programs in a month will be restricted from registering for future programs for a period of one month’s time. Please cancel your registrations at least 2 hours prior to the start of the program to allow for those on the waiting list to be notified of their change in registration status.
Late Arrivals – Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the start of the program to allow for parking and other circumstances. The program will begin promptly at the designated time. At this time, your spot will be forfeited to those on the wait list who will be granted entry. If spots remain, registrants may be allowed into the program. However, registrants will not be permitted to enter the program 5 minutes past the start time.
Drop Off Program – This program is intended for children over the age of 6 years who can participate independently. Adult(s) must be present to check in child with youth services staff prior to program. Adults will not be allowed in the event space.
Designated Ages – Please adhere to the age restrictions designated on your registration. Only children in that age range will be admitted.
