Program Description

Ages 8-12. Children should arrive with a book they are currently reading.  

Our library just received a generous grant from Dollar General that will provide our youth with Summer Reading gift books for finishers!

As part of the grant we will be offering book clubs for kids in various age ranges, so this program is one of several being added to the summer schedule. We will meet three times during the summer, on 6/28, 7/26 and 8/9. Part of our time will be spent quietly reading and enjoying snacks!  We will also have some sharing out time, and learn more about finding great books and being a power library user!

Please register for each session you are able to attend. Participants who complete our optional genre challenge (8 books during the summer from a range of genres) will receive a gift book (in addition to their summer reading challenges!)
