Registration for Lancaster Science Factory Presents Robotics will open at 9:00AM on Wednesday, June 4th for Manheim Township and East Lampeter residents and on Wednesday, June 18th for residents of other municipalities.
Program is for youth ages 10-13 years of age.
Get ready to dive into the exciting world of robotics! In this hands-on workshop, kids ages 10–12 will explore the basics of robotics and programming using awesome tech like Edison Robots, Bee-Bots, and more.
From coding simple commands to solving real-world challenges, participants will build problem-solving skills while having a blast experimenting with these interactive robots. Whether you're a first-time coder or a future engineer, this workshop is the perfect way to learn, create, and play with technology.
Library Program Policies
No Show – Patrons failing to cancel their registration for more than 2 library programs in a month will be restricted from registering for future programs for a period of one month’s time. Please cancel your registrations at least 2 hours prior to the start of the program to allow for those on the waiting list to be notified of their change in registration status.
Late Arrivals – Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the start of the program to allow for parking and other circumstances. The program will begin promptly at the designated time. At this time, your spot will be forfeited to those on the wait list who will be granted entry. If spots remain, registrants may be allowed into the program. However, registrants will not be permitted to enter the program 5 minutes past the start time.
Drop Off Program – This program is intended for children over the age of 10 years who can participate independently. Adult(s) must be present to check in child with youth services staff prior to program. Adults will not be allowed in the event space.
Designated Ages – Please adhere to the age restrictions designated on your registration. Only children in that age range will be admitted.
