The 2025 YWCA Waystation Performance Lab is grounded in the lyric "The art of making art is putting it together."
A 90 min presentation by the twenty-five creative artists collaborating on THE TEAR JAR: A graphic blues opera.
The program includes musical excerpts of the blues opera, presentations on costumes, lighting, and stage design, and preview of the graphic novel that frames both story and set. Salon ends civic dialogue with creatives and tabletop view of their work.
