Program Description

Event Details

This event is sponsored by Putting Others First. All ages are welcome! Registration is appreciated but not required.

Join us as we welcome Dr. Zac Bauermaster and his daughter Olivia, who will read and sign copies of their recent collaboration Lemon-Aid: Spreading Kindness One Cup at a Time. Quill Hawk Publishing, 2024.

From the publisher: When boredom strikes on a hot summer day, Olivia and her friends come up with a sweet idea: a lemonade stand! But what starts as a simple summer project quickly turns into something much more meaningful. As the Cul-de-Sac Kids mix up their delicious drinks, they discover the power of kindness, generosity, and community spirit. Follow their journey as they transform their small lemonade stand into a mission to make a big difference. This heartwarming tale reminds readers that even the smallest actions can have a ripple effect, spreading love and compassion, one cup of lemonade at a time.

Schedule of events:

10:00 - 11:30 am - Lemonade sale (donation)

10:30 - 10:50 am - Authors read a passage aloud

10:00 - 10:30; 10:50-11:30 am - Crafts, STEM, Balloon Art, Music

In addition to signing copies of the book, this event will have lots of great activities for your family! Crafts, a STEM activity, music, and even a balloon artist will round out the celebration!

All proceeds from books and lemonade will benefit our library.
