Event Details
Emilie Arsenault will present her two novels, The Mage Den and The City of Angels, and discuss the writing and publishing process. Books will be for sale for $20.
Emilie Arsenault is a literary magpie whose influences range from Faulkner and Tolkien all the way to Plath and Morrison. She enjoys obscure vocabulary and strange figures of speech, and she goes out of her way to name characters after things that nobody has ever heard of.
Her first series, Lavendulan’s Books, is a gritty trilogy of magic, politics, and survival. Some of Arsenault’s other novels include The City of Angels: Good Fortune and Bad Luck, and several spin-offs of her full-length novels.
She lives in Pennsylvania with two dogs and a cat.
