Join us for another great Longwood Gardens Community Read event for young children. Our latest title, The Secret Garden is based on the novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett, adapted by Calista Brill and illustrated by Adeline Lirius. This is a beautifully illustrated, condensed picture-book version of the classic children’s novel. We will read the book in our program room, enjoy related stories, crafts and dancing, and then we will explore the Library's StoryWalk exhibition of the book as a group. A Longwood Gardens family pass and a copy of the book will be raffled off - registered families will be eligible. Afterward, the exhibit will remain in place for several weeks and additional passes may be won by families who visit the StoryWalk on their own!
