Love Your Library Benefit Bash

(UPDATE: We have revised our event info! We thank you in advance for your patience and understanding as we resort to our Plan B.)

Our Love Your Library Benefit Bash is still on, but we've had to improvise due to bad weather in the forecast (likely storms, gusty winds, and possible hail - yikes!). Out of the safety of all who plan to attend, including entertainment, we have planned to move the event inside...with a few changes.

So, please keep us on your schedule for tomorrow, Friday August 25 now from 12-7 (instead of 4-7) for our Love Your Library "Mini" Benefit Bash. We will still have games for kids, ice cream novelties from Mulberry Thrill, Silent Auction Items & Raffles, a downsized band for live music from 5:30-7, door prizes & temporary tattoos, Buy-Me-Now items, and balloon creations by BalunGuy. It'll be fun and festive and a great way to spend a few hours, even if it rains. (Seriously, if it doesn't rain after all of this reorganizing...)

However, we will not have the Soak a (Town) Celebrity fundraiser, but it sounded like so much fun, we may schedule it for another date (because seriously, who doesn't want to see Miss Jan get soaked by water balloons!). 

The SPUD MUFFIN Food Truck plans to be here unless unless it's storming...if you've never had their food you are in for a treat!

AND...we are extending Silent Auction Bidding, Raffles, and Lego Creation Voting through next week because this is a fundraiser, after all. (Items up for bid can be viewed on Facebook and our Website August 25 thru 31). So if you weren't going to be able to make it to our Benefit Bash but wanted to support the Library, you'll have all week to do so!

AND...come visit us next Friday, September 1 as we make lemonade out of these lemons! Stan Tucker will be here to emcee a little fun into our Friday as we pull raffle winners, announce Lego Contest winners, and close our Silent Auction. We'll have lemonade (that we made from, you know, all those lemons), snacks, and hopefully a food truck or two. It will be our last Open Friday until next summer, and Donegal Schools have holiday, so let's make it a good one!
