Program Description

Event Details

Community members are invited to drop by the Library to experience demonstrations performed by a variety of Makers who all harness their creativity, imagination, and skill to make really cool things. The event is rain or shine.

This year we will have some returning Makers and welcome a few new ones. Woodworking, pottery, painting, bag making, laser cutting, embroidery artistry, candy making, a tie-dye artist, and more! Our Maker Fest is all about showing the community what local makers do, why they do it, and how they do it. The hope is that seeing Makers in action will spark a hidden passion in an adult or child and give them inspiration to make something of their own. Makers will show their wares and, when possible, do demos for attendees. We encourage attendees to interact with the Makers and ask questions about what they make! While the event is to be educational, Makers can sell their items.

Boothy's BBQ and Cupcakes by Casey will be onsite making delicious food for purchase.
