Event Details

Join Mount Joy native and local author Rodney Garber for a collaborative discussion and book signing of his book The Quiet Gospel.

The book outlines 21 principles for living and loving like Jesus in a loud and offended world, inviting readers to consider a simple but powerful question:

What if the loudest way to share our faith was simply to live it quietly?

During the event, Rodney will also share the story behind the book—how it came to be written, the unexpected journey of putting it together, and the ups and downs of writing a book he never originally intended to write.

Through reflection and practical insight, Rodney explores how character, consistency, humility, and everyday interactions can reflect the life and example of Christ. Rather than focusing on louder voices, The Quiet Gospel points to a quieter, relational approach to faith—one lived out through how we treat people and engage the world around us.

The event will include a short discussion, time for questions and conversation, and an opportunity to meet the author and have a copy of the book signed.
