CommunityProgram Description
Event Details
If you have overgrown houseplants that need split or cuttings to share, bring your extra houseplant(s) to the library’s community room and swap them out for a different plant! Whether you're giving or getting, everything is free. Houseplants, cuttings, and gardening books are all welcome.
Please note: due to the risk of jumping worms, garden plants or anything planted in garden soil will not be accepted for the swap. Please bring only pest-free indoor plants planted in new, bagged soil or cuttings in water. Remember to use clean containers that you don’t need back and label your plantlets.
Learn more about invasive jumping worms with the information sheet linked above and at https://extension.psu.edu/look-out-for-jumping-earthworms
No registration required. Just drop in with your plants! You may choose to register if you would like to receive a reminder email the day before the event.
