Join us as we welcome author Phyllis Biffle-Elmore, who will be talking about her memoir Quilt of Souls.
The book tells the story of Ms. Biffle-Elmore's childhood, being raised by her grandmother who made quilts with pieces of fabric to represent the lives of her ancestors who had passed on.
The presentation will touch on the significance of passing down oral history and how age-old artifacts sometimes tell miraculous stories. Ms. Biffle-Elmore's own quilt of souls will be on display during the presentation.
