Reading with Raphie with Take Heart Counseling & Equine Assisted Therapy, a ranch-based counseling practice located in Wernersville, PA— a free, family-friendly event featuring Raphie, our gentle mini therapy horse, along with a few beloved horse-themed children's books and plenty of time to simply enjoy being together.
• Families gather for a cozy storytime with horse-themed picture books
• Raphie joins us for gentle meet-and-greet time — kids (and adults!) are welcome to pet and say hello
• Take Heart staff are on hand to answer questions about our programs and services
• Families leave with information about equine therapy, seasonal groups, and what life at the ranch looks like
Hope. Healing. Horses. — and maybe a little bit of storytime magic.
