Reading Royals Winter Reading Challenge begins!

Our library is participating with the Reading Royals to give even more reasons for your child to read! Free hockey tickets for finishing your goal!

How does it work?

  1. Come into the library and ask for the Winter Reading log (ages 5-15) at the circulation desk.
  2. Starting December 21st, 2022 through February 25, 2023, your child will read 20 minutes for 20 days. “Does it have to be consecutive days (every day in a row)?”  NO!  “Can I use the reading I am doing for school?”  YES!
  3. Finish your 20 days and bring your completed form back to the library.
  4. Get a link for a free Reading Royals ticket for Sunday, March 5th at 3pm – Lancaster County Libraries Day at the Reading Royals (also Nickelodean Blues Clues Day)!

For each extra ticket purchased by additional family members when going to the game, the Reading Royals will contribute $5 to Quarryville Library.
