Event Details
When you think of a Civil War regiment, you think of men in navy blue uniforms marching together and depending on one another on the battlefield. What if I told you that the 11th Pennsylvania Infantry Regiment was different? Within the regiment you will find a dog named Sallie-Anne. She was the most brave and loyal of any Union Soldier in the entire war.
Join Civil War Historian Cindy Beaston and special guest Sallie-Anne as they tell you the story of one of the oldest Union Regiments in the Civil War and about their special solider.
This program is best suited for ages 10+.
