Event Details
Ages 4-11, registered patrons will be given 10 minute reading slots in order of signup. Walk-ins may be accommodated if slots remain open after all registered readers have finished their turn. We thank each family for waiting outside the Story Corner until your child's turn.
Come read to a dog at Quarryville Library! Lily and Carly will take turns coming to visit us. They love to hear kids read and won't mind if you stumble on a word here or there. Share a story you love with a furry friend, or consider reading one of their favorite books:
- Go, Dog! Go! by PD Eastman
- Noodle and the No-Bones Day by Jonathan Graziano
- Can I Be Your Dog? by Troy Cummings
- Harry the Dirty Dog by Gene Zion
- Where's Spot? by Eric Hill
- Clifford the Big Red Dog by Norman Bridwell
- Sheep in a Jeep by Nancy Shaw
The Landis family will be coming to our library with one of their dogs (Lily and Carly) once per month and they are excited to listen to your stories. We thank them for volunteering to bring back this youth program!
