Program Description

Event Details

Sound Healing is an ancient wellness practice for healing, relaxation, and self-care that uses sounds made by music instruments like chimes, gongs, and singing bowls. Several studies have shown promising results regarding the effectiveness of sound healing in reducing stress, anxiety, and pain, as well as improving overall well-being.

Program facilitator Lana Ryder will talk about sound healing and will offer a 30-minute sound meditation to any attendee who would like to participate. There will be a Q&A period for anyone who would like to learn more about the healing affects of sound.

Lana has been using sound therapeutically for over 20 years and has studied with some of the top sound teachers globally. Lana is the Founding Director and Senior Instructor of Soundwise Health Associates LLC in Lancaster. For more information, visit her website.
