Registration for Special Storytime with a Police Officer! will open at 9:00AM on Wednesday, July 2nd for Manheim Township and East Lampeter residents and on Wednesday, July 9th for residents of other municipalities.
Join us for a special visit from Officer Shivers of the Manheim Township Police Department! Officer Shivers will read a story, talk about what police officers do, and answer questions from curious young minds. If the weather permits, families will also have the chance to see a real police car up close! Crafts will also be on hand!
Perfect for ages 3–6 and their caregivers.
Adults attending with their child(ren) do NOT need to register. Please add any additional registrants to your registration if more than one child that will be participating in the program.
Storytime Policies
No Show – Patrons failing to cancel their registration for more than 2 library programs in a month will be restricted from registering for future programs for a period of one month’s time. Please cancel your registrations at least 2 hours prior to the start of the program to allow for those on the waiting list to be notified of their change in registration status.
Late Arrivals – Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the start of the program to allow for parking and other circumstances. The program will begin promptly at the designated time. At this time, your spot will be forfeited to those on the wait list who will be granted entry. If spots remain, registrants may be allowed into the program. However, registrants will not be permitted to enter the program 5 minutes past the start time.
Accompanying Adults – This program is for adults and children to enjoy together. Please plan to attend and be engaged with your child. Drop offs will not be permitted.
