Splish, Splash, Stay Safe! Storytime

Join us for Splish, Splash, Stay Safe!, a special storytime in partnership with Safe Splash Swim School for children ages 0-7 and their caregivers.

Children will learn important water safety basics like staying close to a grown-up, wearing life jackets, and what to do around open pools and water. Cassidy, owner of Safe Splash, will share simple age appropriate safety tips and demonstrate skills families can practice together while reading engaging stories on water safety. We will sing, move, and learn how to stay safe this summer.

Adults attending with their child(ren) do NOT need to register. Please add any additional registrants to your registration if more than one child that will be participating in the program.

Registration will open at 9:00AM on Wednesday, April 29th for Manheim Township and East Lampeter residents and on Friday, May 1st for residents of other municipalities.

Storytime Policies

No Show – Patrons failing to cancel their registration for more than 2 library programs in a month will be restricted from registering for future programs for a period of one month’s time. Please cancel your registrations at least 2 hours prior to the start of the program to allow for those on the waiting list to be notified of their change in registration status.

Late Arrivals – Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the start of the program to allow for parking and other circumstances. The program will begin promptly at the designated time. At this time, your spot will be forfeited to those on the wait list who will be granted entry. If spots remain, registrants may be allowed into the program. However, registrants will not be permitted to enter the program 5 minutes past the start time.

Accompanying Adults – This program is for adults and children to enjoy together. Please plan to attend and be engaged with your child. Drop offs will not be permitted.

Cancellations- Please check your email prior to departing to verify that the program has not been cancelled.
