STEM Groundhog Day

Join us for this STEM Groundhog Day Program as we explore the world of shadows - as experienced by the groundhog.  We'll make a shadow box to explore different ways that shadows are created - we'll also explore different materials to observe different shadows. 

This program is for kids ages 6 - 9 and registration is required. 

Registration for Manheim Township and East Lampeter residents will open at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, January 28th.  Registration for all others will open on Friday, January22nd. 

Library Program Policies

No Show – Patrons failing to cancel their registration for more than 2 library programs in a month will be restricted from registering for future programs for a period of one month’s time. Please cancel your registrations at least 2 hours prior to the start of the program to allow for those on the waiting list to be notified of their change in registration status.

Late Arrivals – Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the start of the program to allow for parking and other circumstances. The program will begin promptly at the designated time. At this time, your spot will be forfeited to those on the wait list who will be granted entry. If spots remain, registrants may be allowed into the program. However, registrants will not be permitted to enter the program 5 minutes past the start time.

Check In - All participants must provide an emergency contact number upon registration or at the start of the program. Children ages 6 - 7 must have an adult remain at the library during the program.
