STEM Let's Go Code

***THIS IS A REPEAT OF THE TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 17TH PROGRAM****

Let's go code!  No computers or screens needed for this program - we're going to learn some of the very basics of coding!

We'll start with a fun story about how to code a sandcastle and then play around with some coding activities.

This program is for kids ages 6 - 9 and registration is required. 

This program is designed for children ages 6–9.

For children ages 6–7, this is a drop-off program; however, a parent or caregiver must remain nearby and wait outside the program room for the duration of the program.

Children ages 8–9 may be dropped off and attend independently, in accordance with library policy, which allows children ages 8 and up to be in the library unaccompanied.

This program is intended for children over the age of 6 years who can participate independently. Adult(s) must be present to check in child with youth services staff prior to program. Adults will not be allowed in the event space. 

Registration for Manheim Township and East Lampeter residents will open at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, February 11th.  Registration for all others will open on Friday, February 13th. 

Library Program Policies

No Show – Patrons failing to cancel their registration for more than 2 library programs in a month will be restricted from registering for future programs for a period of one month’s time. Please cancel your registrations at least 2 hours prior to the start of the program to allow those on the waiting list to be notified of their change in registration status.

Late Arrivals – Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the start of the program to allow for parking and other circumstances. The program will begin promptly at the designated time. At this time, your spot will be forfeited to those on the wait list who will be granted entry. If spots remain, registrants may be allowed into the program. However, registrants will not be permitted to enter the program 5 minutes past the start time.

Designated Ages – Please adhere to the age restrictions designated on your registration. Only children in that age range will be admitted.
