Event Details
Manheim Township Public Library is excited to host the first session of this popular countywide program just for teens! Participants will meet acclaimed graphic novelist Jamar Nicholas and explore how art and storytelling come together in the creation of a zine. Teens will have the opportunity to submit their own artwork and stories, which will be compiled into a collaborative teen-created magazine.
This program will continue with multiple sessions held at libraries throughout the county, featuring different presenters and creative focuses. Stay tuned—updates and future dates will be announced soon!
Registration will open at 9:00AM on Wednesday, May 13th, 2026.
LIBRARY PROGRAM POLICIES:
Drop Off Program – This program is intended for children over the age of 13 years who can participate independently. Adult(s) must be present to check in child with youth services staff prior to program. Adults will not be allowed in the event space.
Designated Ages – Please adhere to the age restrictions designated on your registration. Only children in that age range will be admitted.
Registration Requirements – To help us manage our space, please register every person who will be attending, including siblings.
No Show – Patrons failing to cancel their registration for more than 2 library programs in a month will be restricted from registering for future programs for a period of one month’s time. Please cancel your registrations at least 2 hours prior to the start of the program to allow for those on the waiting list to be notified of their change in registration status.
Late Arrivals – Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the start of the program to allow for parking and other circumstances. The program will begin promptly at the designated time. At this time, your spot will be forfeited to those on the wait list who will be granted entry. If spots remain, registrants may be allowed into the program. However, registrants will not be permitted to enter the program 5 minutes past the start time.
