This experience is followed up with an educational debrief and discussion on how you can make a difference in the person living with dementia’s life. Melody Karick, Dementia Educator, Consultant and Director of Dementia Friendly Lancaster, started her journey with dementia in January of 2000 when her father moved in with her, her husband, and four children. Her love for her father created a passion to serve those with a dementia and their care partners. Personally educated and certified by Teepa Snow, Dr Camp, and the Second Wind Dreams team, to name a few, her most educational information is gleaned by working with people living with dementia and their care partners.
