Program Description

Event Details

The Penn State Master Gardeners will teach us a simple, easy, and inexpensive process that anyone can use to start seeds.

Weather the winter doldrums by getting your hands in the dirt and then let Mother Nature do the work! A make-and-take demonstration follows with each participant taking home a winter-sown jug.

Ages 16+ · Registration is required

Penn State Extension Master Gardeners are volunteers who have an interest and enthusiasm for gardening and are trained in a broad range of horticultural topics. In return, Master Gardeners use unbiased, research-based information to educate our communities on best practices in sustainable horticulture and environmental stewardship.
