All aboard for a journey into the world of railroads! The Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania is bringing its engaging Workin’ on the Railroad program to our library this summer. Families are invited to explore the fascinating jobs that kept the trains running—from conductors and engineers to signalmen and porters.
Participants will get hands-on with real railroad tools, lanterns, uniform items, dining car china, ticket punches, and more! This interactive program offers a unique opportunity to connect with history through touchable artifacts and fun stories about life on the rails.
Ideal for school-age children (Ages 7-12) and their families, this program is perfect for curious minds who love trains, history, and hands-on learning.
