Generative Artificial Intelligence (genAI) can now rapidly produce cogent and convincing written content, and this development is having a profound impact on the way we read, write, study, and understand texts! In this session, Dr. A Nicole Pfannenstiel will discuss how AI produces the texts it provides, the role of human creativity in writing, and how to use technological tools effectively to supplement human creation, in school and in everyday life. Come prepared with your own questions and concerns, as there will be time for Q & A at the end of this presentation.
