REAL Life Community Services invites you to Young at Heart, with free events for anyone age 60 and up. Join us at the library for coffee, chatting, games, crafts, and more on the 1st & 3rd Wednesday of each month.

This stop is ONLY for seniors and staff at Fairmount Homes. 

The Bookmobile first stops at Crest View to drop off holds and pick up returns, and then goes over to the main office for the deposit holds and returns. 

A guest reader from Penn State Extension Master Gardener organization will entertain with puppets, bee and butterfly stories, and hand out seed packets. All Ages. 

Doran is offering two new digital literacy classes in June! Both classes are available Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday starting at 10:00am. Please contact Doran directly to register for a one-on-one session.

Infants, young toddlers and their caregivers sing songs, recite fun rhymes and read together. Participants also learn fingerplays, basic sign language and play together. Ages 0-24 months.

Are you facing challenges or seeking support in your life? A licensed social worker from REAL Life Community Services is here to help! Regular hours are every other Wednesday from 11:30-2 p.m. in the library community room.

Meld, bid, marriage, trump? You’re speaking our language! Join us every for an afternoon of pinochle. This program runs until 3:30 p.m. Seniors.

Dungeons and Dragons is a game of imagination, fun, chaos and story. Play as a character you create and let the Dungeon Master take you on a journey to a mystical land. Everything is possible as long as you can roll the dice.

A Trip to the Seaside: A Summer Book Club for Adults Experiencing Dementia or Other Brain Changes 

Drop-in program. No registration required.

Enjoy a few rounds of Bingo and earn vouchers for books (from our lobby racks) as prizes! This Bingo session is led by the Friends of Milanof-Schock Library.

Work together to solve the murder of an actress who disappeared long ago. This program will be using the Hunt a Killer: Curtain Call set. Each week we will solve a new episode. Full of challenging puzzles you will work together to solve!

Get ready to design your own mini-sized outfits! Sketch your designs and recreate them using fabric, felt and accessories. We will have fun challenges and fashion themed games to mix things up a little! Ages 10-12.

Come play board games and card games, socialize, and have fun. You can bring a game or choose from the collection. 

Are you an adult who loves board games but don't have anyone to play them with? Come to the Library the first and third Wednesdays of every month for a couple hours of casual competition...a variety games are available. No need to register.

Do you enjoy board games? Looking for someone to play a game with? Bring your favorite board game or enjoy one of ours for an evening of friendly competition.

Bring the whole family and work as a team to solve these STEM challenges! Participants will be challenged to design, build, test, and discover with different themes every week from astronomy to zoology.
