A special time for babies to share stories, songs, rhymes, and games with their grown-ups. Come play with us in the Children’s Library! (Newborn to 17 months, with an adult.) Limit: 10 babies.

Under the direction of Shannon Richard, children ages 3 to 5 have fun with engaging books, songs, and interactive activities. (Child must be 3 by April 1, 2023.) Child attends independent of caregiver. 

Under the direction of Amy Moyer, babies ages 6-24 months and their caregivers enjoy songs, bounces, nursery rhymes, and simple stories together.

Simple stories, rhymes, puppets, songs, and fingerplays. Every Thursday at 10 a.m. For babies with an adult.

Join us at 10:30am every Thursday at the Gap Branch Library for a story time! In the case of a delayed opening due to inclement weather, story time will be cancelled.

Ages 1-3, siblings welcome!
Toddlers will dance, zoom, scoot and hop between stories selected to promote language development. All adults are expected to participate and encourage the children to join in the fun.

Stories, songs and fingerplays, followed by an easy craft and free play. Every Thursday at 11 a.m. for toddlers with an adult. 

Walk-ins welcome.

Under the direction of Shannon Richard, children ages 2 & 3 and their caregivers join in the fun with an active mix of songs, rhymes, ASL, and books. (Child must be 2 by April 1, 2023.)

Drop-in program. No registration required.

Build and play with the Library’s DUPLO bricks. Each family group must include a responsible adult.

Have ants in your pants? No worries! Come to the Library for this interactive program with music, motion, sound, games and storytelling!

This club is open to all interested knitters, crocheters, and other needle or fabric crafters.

Meets the last Thursday of each month at 2 p.m.

Dungeons and & Dragons is a game of imagination, fun, chaos and story. Play as a character you create and let the Dungeon Master take you on a journey to a mystical land. Cast spells, talk to and befriend NPCs.

Join us for a fun afternoon of science, technology, engineering, arts and math using cool tech equipment and robots supplied by the library! Ages 10-12.
