The Amazing, Trailblazing MAGIC Adventure!

The Care of Magical Creatures program is conducted by Critter Connections. The program covers a wide array of magical creatures, ranging from the familiar to the exotic.

The Harry Potter series contains some of the greatest, most imaginative adventures in literature.  Come participate in a celebration of Harry Potter adventures, learning the ins and outs of owls and creating your own mythical creature. 

Students will learn about electricity and how energy flows while building and experimenting with a variety of circuits from simple to complex.

This program is for youth 10-14 years of age.

Do you have rhythms in your hands? In your feet? In your heart? We believe that there are rhythms to express, join in and play together inside us and all around us.

Be a part of the Animal Olympics! Participants will be challenged with the same physical prowess as creatures in the animal kingdom: jumping, running, breath holding and even the sloth crawl.

As the days warm up, come to the Library to cool off. Children can wear their bathing suits and splash in water tables, get wet in sprinklers and enjoy the sensory exploration of water!

Join Miss Rachel and have an imaginary picnic with your teddy bear!  

Sit on picnic blankets while you listen to stories and sing songs about teddy bears, then make some teddy bear crafts.

Bring your lunch to much on at the library with Miss Jen! A social hour for teens and tweens full of discussions, trivia, and shenanigans.

At Adamstown Grove. Hands-on, educational program featuring a rabbit, guinea pig, variety of geckos, bearded dragon, turtles, insects, and snakes. Children and adults will enjoy their experience! All Ages.

Set sail with the Vikings! These Scandinavian explorers charted a course through the Northern Hemisphere. Learn about their travels through Viking boat and navigation activities and try your hand at being a Viking! 

Join Lancaster Science Factory on a trip to discover the rainforest biome.

Participants will learn about the layers of the rainforest and the animals that live in this fascinating place.

Ages 7-13

This will be a hands-on educational program featuring animals of all shapes and sizes. Children and adults will have the opportunity to touch and hold various critters. We’ll discuss animal facts and answer questions.

Join Miss Jen for a STEM Adventure! Each program focuses on a different topic and challenge where you will design, build, test, and discover.

Join us for a Monday night Summer Snooze Storytime! Grab your PJs and favorite plushie and join us as we sing songs, color, and read bedtime stories before you head home for a summer snooze! It’s the perfect way to end a wonderful Summer Day!
