Ages 10-16. Please note that this program runs for two hours, unlike our usual hour-long events. This program requires using an iPad/iPhone or Android device.

Young children, along with an adult, can join us at the library to make easy recipes. Proper use of kitchen tools and simple cooking techniques will be introduced. Ages 6-9.

Once a month, we'll build themed creations out of LEGO Bricks that will be displayed in the library. 

No registration required. Recommended for ages 8+ and siblings. 

Welcome to our new Lego Program! This program will be a structured challenge for your child to learn and grow with peers that understand their desire for design and creativity. They will be given a myriad of challenges each week to complete.

In Snapology's KinderBots Racecar class, students will build a LEGO race car using building instructions. Then test their programming knowledge as they are challenged to move a race car towards and away from an object!

Kids ages 5+ are invited to join us each month for our Lego Block Party! We’ll have suggested challenges or use your imagination and creativity to build your own design.

The LEGO Block Party at the library is a fun and creative program where children ages 8-12 come together to build various creations using LEGO bricks.

Join Miss Jen for a STEM Adventure! Each program focuses on a different topic and challenge where you will design, build, test, and discover.

ZAP! Electricity is a hair raising look at electrons, currents, conductors and insulators.  Every demonstration uses children from the audience and every concept builds on the one before.

Students will learn about electricity and how energy flows while building and experimenting with a variety of circuits from simple to complex. Activities based on grade level may include circuit boards, snap circuits, or paper circuits.
