Adults and interested older youth.  Join the outreach staff from the Railroad Museum of PA who will offer a lecture and Q&A about four historic railroad jobs, along with primary source photos and artifacts. 

Kids ages 5+ are invited to join us each month for our Lego Block Party! We’ll have suggested challenges or use your imagination and creativity to build your own design.

Young scientists will embark on an exciting journey of discovery through the lens of a microscope.  

Learn how to handle microscopes, prepare slides, and adjust magnification settings to observe various specimens.

A time for family play! Gain "shopping" experience in our weekly play market!

Each family group must include a responsible adult. (Ages 3 and up)

Build, design and create with Lego® bricks, figures and accessories all supplied by the Library. Participate in various building challenges. The theme will be revealed when you arrive at the program.

The LEGO Block Party at the library is a fun and creative program where children ages 8-12 come together to build various creations using LEGO bricks.

This Pennsylvania early literacy program is based on the national “Every Child Ready to Read” program. After hearing a story, the child and caregiver will visit different stations that will help with skills needed to start school.
