REAL Life Community Services invites you to Young at Heart, with free events for anyone age 60 and up. Join us at the library for coffee, chatting, games, crafts, and more on the 1st & 3rd Wednesday of each month.

Join us on our discovery patio for an hour of creativity and fun!

For all ages up to 3rd grade

Drop-in program. No registration is required but  a responsible adult must be present with children at all times

Come for a fun make-and-take craft from 9AM- 12PM! For children ages 4 to 11. 

Community members are invited to bring in their new & gently-used arts & craft supplies to share & trade with others.

Drop in to the library from 9:30-11 a.m. Let’s celebrate all you have accomplished this summer with a magic show and balloons by The Amazing Magi (Michael Reist).

After hearing the story The Perfect Plan by Leah Gilbert, preschoolers can see animal specimens and pictures to help understand these animals and their habits. We finish by playing a variety of games that emphasize cooperation.

Preschoolers are invited to this story time that integrates songs and concept-enriched finger plays. Early literacy skills, including letter and sound introduction, are included in each story time.

A special time for babies to share stories, songs, rhymes and games with their grown-ups. Come play with us in the Children’s Library! (Newborn to 17 months, with adult.) .

Celebrate what makes you...YOU with Toddler Thursdays at ELANCO Library this August! Each week we will focus on names, birthdays, favorite colors, and more through play, crafts, and learning activities! Ages 0-3, siblings welcome!

Lancaster Science Factory presents Wind Power! 

Beat the heat with our Mini Drive-In! Children will create and decorate their own "cars" using cardboard boxes and other supplies. Then we'll sit in our cars and have a snack while watching a cartoon - just like you would at a real drive-in!
