Children's Author Martha Jaworowski will read her books, Trucks at First Sight.

Enjoy the story and play with trucks! 

Preschoolers are invited to this story time that integrates songs and concept-enriched finger plays. Early literacy skills, including letter and sound introduction, are included in each story time.

Knitting Club meets every 1st and 3rd Monday of the month,  from 10 a.m. until noon. Knitting Club is for people who knit and like to share the craft.

This story time is especially for the very young. This 30-minute program encourages interacting with baby using songs, finger play, and age-appropriate props, like shakers, scarves, and instruments.

A special time for babies to share stories, songs, rhymes and games with their grown-ups. Come play with us in the Children’s Library! (Newborn to 17 months, with adult.) .

A hands-on educational program featuring around 20 animals including a rabbit, a guinea pig, a large variety of geckos, a bearded dragon, turtles, insects, and snakes. Children will learn fun facts about the animals,

Celebrate what makes you...YOU with Toddler Thursdays at ELANCO Library this August! Each week we will focus on names, birthdays, favorite colors, and more through play, crafts, and learning activities! Ages 0-3, siblings welcome!

It's everything Pirates at this week's program. Pirate stories, pirate songs, and a pirate craft. Kid are invited to dress up as a pirate if they wish!

Come be creative and have FUN in Summer Art Club with artist, Jeremy Miller. Participants will learn about different artists and techniques and create their own Masterpieces! This class is best for children in grades 1-5.

Registration will open at 9 am on Wednesday, two weeks before the story time for Manheim Township and East Lampeter residents and on Saturday for residents of other municipalities.

Join us for a hands-on, educational program featuring animals of all shapes and sizes. Children and adults will have the opportunity to touch and hold various critters. We’ll discuss animal facts and answer questions. All ages.

As the days warm up, come to the Library to cool off. Children can wear their bathing suits and splash in water tables, get wet in sprinklers and enjoy the sensory exploration of water!

This club is open to all interested knitters, crocheters, and other needle or fabric crafters.

Everyone is invited to join the Readers' Roundtable for lively book discussions! In August, we'll be talking about The Second Life of Mirielle West by  Amanda Skenandore.

The theme of our Summer Reading Challenge for Adults this year has been Aging.

We are experimenting with pancake art! Learn to make pancakes and enter the challenge to see if you can design the best looking (and tasting) pancake! Ages 10-18.

Kids of all ages welcome to join us for a freestyle LEGO build! We will meet in the basement community room. Bring your own LEGO bricks or use the Library’s, and flip through some of the Library’s LEGO idea books to spark creativity!

Join us for some relaxation and video games on our Nintendo Switch! Feel free to bring any multiplayer (4 or more players) games you wish to share with the group. Ages 13-18.

Each week, we’ll have a different craft project for kids ages 5 and older. Younger siblings are welcome to come along and color!

When it's hot outside, it's cool in the library! If you're interested in crafting and spending time with others in a fun and relaxing atmosphere, this free workshop is for you.

Children who have completed or are close to completing 1000 Books Before Kindergarten are welcome to join us for a fun celebration with crafts, snacks, and a short story! Ages 3-6.

Join us on the Library lawn and get outside for running, jumping and various challenges to get moving! Parents: Kids will most likely get wet. Please have them dress appropriately and bring a towel. Ages 10-18.
