Amazing Authors!

Amazing Authors is a program designed just for our 6 – 9-year-olds. Join us on the fourth Saturday of each month as we dive into the crafts of authors and engage in exciting activities to stimulate our imaginations.  Each month we’ll highlight a different author, explore their crafts through their books, and engage in fun activities. 

* November's author is... Jon Klassen!  We'll be reading I Want My Hat and We Found a Hat. 

Registration will open at 9:00AM on Wednesday, November 5th for Manheim Township and East Lampeter residents and on Wednesday, November 12th for residents of other municipalities.

Storytime Policies

No Show – Patrons failing to cancel their registration for more than 2 library programs in a month will be restricted from registering for future programs for a period of one month’s time. Please cancel your registrations at least 2 hours prior to the start of the program to allow for those on the waiting list to be notified of their change in registration status.

Late Arrivals – Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the start of the program to allow for parking and other circumstances. The program will begin promptly at the designated time. At this time, your spot will be forfeited to those on the wait list who will be granted entry. If spots remain, registrants may be allowed into the program. However, registrants will not be permitted to enter the program 5 minutes past the start time.

Drop Off Program – This program is intended for children over the age of 6 years who can participate independently. Adult(s) must be present to check in child with youth services staff prior to program. Adults will not be allowed in the event space. 

Designated Ages – Please adhere to the age restrictions designated on your registration. Only children in that age range will be admitted.
