Last month, the Lancaster Public Library - Lancaster City Branch suffered significant flood damage. Unfortunately, the building must remain closed until (at least) Monday, March 17. We understand the inconvenience caused to our patrons and we are working hard behind the scenes to continue providing programs and services while the building is closed.
This month's Book Swap Book Club will take place in the LNP offices, located at 101 N. Queen Street. A staff member will meet you at the building's entrance, pictured below.
This book club will allow readers to bring books they've recently read and loved, or didn't love, and give the group their thoughts.
- After everyone has had a chance to discuss their books, we'll give attendees the opportunity to swap an old book for something new from another reader.
- Swapping a book is NOT required.
- Attendees can just talk about books they've read or are currently reading without having to give up a book of their own.
- They can also discuss library books they've read so that other attendees can check them out/put them on hold.
This program is geared toward adults.
Registration is helpful, but not required.
