Event Details
Come play with us at Quarryville Library for our Family Place program! Two programs each week, differentiated by child’s age. If you have children in both groups, you may participate in both or choose a different one each week to get the maximum benefit!
10:00 – 11:00 am – Parent-child workshop (birth through three with caregiver) -providing a welcoming community environment with resources that families need to nurture their children’s development beginning at birth to help ensure they enter school ready and able to learn.
Weekly topics:
- October 11: Early Literacy
- October 18: Speech and Language Development
- October 25: Growth and Development
- November 1: Pediatric Nutrition
- November 8: Music and Movement
Each week offers opportunities for children to play with developmentally appropriate toys in a play group setting and for parents to meet and question community experts in the areas of child development, speech and language, nutrition, play, movement, and music.
Ages birth to three, with a caregiver. Older and younger siblings welcome!
