Lancaster Office of the Aging - Medicare Enrollment

In partnership with the Lancaster Office of Aging, the Lancaster Public Library - Mountville Branch will host Medicare Annual Open Enrollment Appointments.

This program will assist those with questions about Medicare, Medicaid, and other health insurance options. 

They will be scheduling appointments in their office: 150 N. Queen St., Lancaster, and at other sites all over Lancaster County.  Please call (717) 299-7979 to set up a one hour appointment at Mountville Branch or elsewhere.

They will meet with you individually, confidentially, to go over what Medicare Plan you currently have, and to see if upcoming 2025 plans are the same, have higher premiums, are still available, etc. If your coverage remains the same and you like it, you don’t have to do anything. Drug or RX plans are those you can switch at this time of year. You can also switch from an Advantage Plan to another Advantage Plan or to an Original Medicare Plan. Insurance changes made during the Open Enrollment time become effective January 1, 2025.
