Event Details

Welcome to Manheim Community Library’s first ever Library Camp! Any child having finished 3rd-5th grade are invited to attend. There are only 12 spots open since this is our first try at it. Kids will get the chance to explore the library, read, craft, run around, work on team building exercises, and have fun!

Here is a basic outline for the first day.

 

Library Camp Agenda

DAY 1

9:30 – Arrival - meet upstairs in library back room

9:45 – Tour

  • Explain rules and camp expectations
  • Talk about camp flow/agenda

10:15 – Lesson/Challenge - Research Project! :)

11:00 – Creative Writing/ Storytelling activity

11:45 – Lunch: in break room

12:00 – Basement game/Parachute/Team Challenge

1:30 – Library/Reading Time

2:00 – Craft

3:00 – Parent Pick-up

It may change or be adjusted based on library happenings but will look like this. Your child should arrive with a packed lunch every day. Friday of the week will be a fun day and we will provide a dessert. Please let us know if your child has any allergies or dietary restrictions in your registration below.

Late Arrival

Please note that if you arrive after the start of the program, your spot may be forfeited. Please reach out to us if you cannot attend or are running late.

No Show

If a registered patron does not show up for a program, they may be restricted from registering for future programs for a period of time.
